On the basis of 60 works, the exhibition illustrates the affinity of the artist Hans Purrmann for the representation of the female body. Special emphasis is placed on those works that Purrmann made during his time in Paris (1905-1914). These drawings and paintings reveal the intensive exchange with the Parisian avant-garde and the inspiration Purrmann received from the artist personality central to his work, Henri Matisse.
